Due to rising safety concerns and increased visitor traffic, the City of Salina has closed vehicular access to Bill Burke Memorial Park. This action is being taken as a precaution, following forecasts from the NOAA River Forecast Center predicting the Smoky Hill River will crest above flood stage on Thursday morning. The park will remain closed to vehicles until further notice. Updates will be provided as conditions change.
