After a temporary closure due to excessive rainfall, the Landfill is now ready to accept waste. However, due to muddy conditions, limb drop-off services remain temporarily unavailable. The City will continue to monitor site conditions and will notify the public when limb drop-off can safely resume.
The City appreciates the patience and cooperation of all haulers and citizens during the closure. We are committed to providing safe and efficient waste management services and strive to remain open to meet the community’s needs.
Haulers are advised to follow all posted safety guidelines and use extra caution when traveling through the Landfill, as the rain has caused a runoff of silt on roadways.
