Beginning May 26, 2026, Mies Construction will install traffic control and close Roach Street at Marc Street. Pavement will be removed to replace the water main along Marc Street from Roach Street to Albert Avenue. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained. Work is expected to last three weeks and be completed by June 16, 2026, weather permitting.
Appropriate barriers will be in place to ensure the safety of workers. Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour to Quincy Street. Motorists may encounter minor delays and are encouraged to avoid work zones when possible.
