The City of Salina Municipal Solid Waste Landfill will close early on Wednesday, December 10, at 3:00 p.m. to complete a critical software upgrade used for waste acceptance and ticket processing. Normal operating hours will resume on Thursday, December 11.
This upgrade is essential to maintaining efficient operations, ensuring compliance with KDHE reporting requirements, and supporting accurate invoicing for all waste received at our facility. To allow full access to internal and vendor support teams, the system must be taken offline during business hours, ensuring any issues can be addressed before the next operating day.
