APAC Shears of Salina has completed the asphalt overlay on the two westbound lanes of Belmont Boulevard. However, one westbound lane will remain closed so crews can overlay the cross-overs and use the area for equipment staging. The remaining westbound lane will stay open to traffic.
To ensure the safety of both crews and motorists, eastbound Belmont Boulevard from Magnolia to Roach will be closed from Tuesday, November 18, through Friday, November 21, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM while crews complete the remaining overlay work.
A signed detour route will be in place to guide eastbound motorists around the closure. Drivers are encouraged to follow all posted traffic-control devices and allow extra time when traveling in the area.
This work is part of the City of Salina’s 2025 $5.9 million maintenance capital improvement program.
