Hunger and hope; dust and desperation; programs and profiteering. Join Dr. Robert Weems, as we pull back the curtains on life in the 1930s to see how people lived, how they made money and how labor organizations fared. Dr. Weems is the Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at Wichita State University.
This free presentation is offered at the Smoky Hill Museum on Thursday, October 2, from 5:30-6:30 pm.
