12/24/2014 - Ordinance No. 14-10760 Fire Protection Services Outside City Limits

ORDINANCE NUMBER 14-10760

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AGREEMENTS TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS, FIRMS, OR CORPORATIONS WHOSE PROPERTY IS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE CITY LIMITS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH K.S.A. 80-1502.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

 Section 1.  Approval of Agreements.  Pursuant to K.S.A. 80-1502, Governing Body hereby approves, and directs the city manager to execute, an Agreement for Fire Protection Services Outside the City Limits, on the form attached hereto as Attachment A, with each individual, firm, or corporation listed on Attachment B, for the purpose of establishing the terms and conditions under which the City of Salina will provided first-response fire-fighting services for certain property described in Attachment B. 
 
 Section 2.  Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication by the following summary once in the official city newspaper.
