CITY MANAGER NAMES NEW CITY PROSECUTOR
Salina City Manager Jason Gage has appointed Christina Trocheck as the new city prosecutor. This position generated 15 candidates from across the area.
Ms. Trocheck, a Kansas native, has significant prosecution experience, including nearly 15 years with the Saline County Attorney’s Office. In total, she comes to the City with over 20 years of legal experience. Ms. Trocheck holds a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University and a Juris Doctorate from Washburn University.
City Manager Gage states: "Christina is a highly regarded, veteran prosecutor. She has proven integrity, is exceptionally bright and is very passionate about her work. It is a privilege for the City to have Christina on our staff. We look forward to seeing great things from her as our new city prosecutor! ”
Ms. Trocheck will begin her new role mid-May, succeeding Chris Getty who served in that role the prior four years.
