FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE SET FOR AUGUST 12

(Salina, KS 08-16) Salina Arts & Humanities, in collaboration with downtown stakeholders, announces the next Friday Night Live concert event on August 12th. Friday Night Live is a series of arts and entertainment programming for Salina residents and visitors designed to increase attendance and participation in arts-related events and to strengthen partnerships with local business owners in the downtown arts district.  Each week, a free-admission Friday Night Live concert will feature music and poetry events in restaurants, bars, outdoor plazas and other venues.

This week, the Friday Night Live free concert features Salina’s own Pandora Roxx. This high-energy band has played the stage at many an area establishment and has been on the Eric Stein Stage for Festival Jam several years in a row. Their Friday Night Live set will be at Campbell Plaza from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Pandora Roxx brings classic though current rock, pop and country songs to their performances. The band incorporates originals and also puts their own twist on old favorites. This group enjoys mixing up their sets so that no two are the same, but it’s certain that they will always bring a fun time, good music and high energy to every show.

Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the rest of Friday Night Live programming for August and September. For more information, call Stacy Ash at Salina Arts & Humanities at 785-309-5770.
