Friday Night Live set for February 9
(Salina, KS 02-18) Salina Arts & Humanities, in collaboration with downtown stakeholders, presents Friday Night Live---an arts and entertainment series for Salina residents and visitors designed to increase attendance and participation in arts-related events and to strengthen partnerships with local business owners in the downtown arts district.
The Friday Night Live supported event will be Toney Rocks performing at Ad Astra Books & Coffee House, 141 N. Santa Fe. Singer-songwriter Rocks delivers an intimate concert exploding with musical diversity, featuring his soulful singing supported by acoustic guitars, ukulele and piano.
The Las Vegas Weekly recently names Rocks as one of "10 Las Vegas Artists to Watch" in 2017. Tony Rocks' songwriting is steeped in folk, blues and rock influences. In addition to headlining concerts around the U.S., Rocks has opened for artists such as Corey Harris and Jarekus Singleton. This event is kid-friendly and admission is free, supported by Friday Night Live.
