KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY CHORALE PERFORMS
ART A LA CARTE CONCERT ON OCTOBER 4TH

(Salina, KS 10-13) The Kansas Wesleyan Chorale will perform for the Art a la Carte concert series on Friday, October 4th.  These free, outdoor concerts are presented by Salina Arts & Humanities.  The concerts take place at Robert Caldwell Plaza, on the commons between the City/County Building and the Salina Public Library. The half-hour performances begin at 12:20 p.m. each Friday and will conclude on October 11th.

The Kansas Wesleyan University Chorale is a select vocal ensemble of approximately 20 students.  An audition is held each fall, and membership is based on a one-year commitment.  The Chorale performs and entertains in a variety of venues on and off campus throughout the academic year, and is conducted by Music Department Chair Ken Hakoda.

For the October 4 Art a la Carte Concert, the Kansas Wesleyan University Chorale will feature a variety of music from all genres –classical, spiritual, madrigals and a popular number, “Seize the Day!”

In case of inclement weather, the performance will be held at the Hauptli Student Activity Center on the Kansas Wesleyan University Campus, 100 East Claflin Avenue.
