A LA CARTE CONCERTS BEGIN APRIL 25th

Salina Arts & Humanities announces that its spring season of Art a la Carte concerts will begin on Friday, April 25th.  Featured artists will be Ann Zimmerman and Sunset Elementary third graders. The half-hour performances begin at 12:20 p.m. each Friday and are held at Campbell Plaza in the 100 block of South Santa Fe in downtown Salina.  The one exception for the season is the final concert scheduled for Friday, May 30th, which will take place at noon on the Eric Stein Stage at Oakdale Park.
Art a la Carte concerts feature live local and regional talent, both amateur and professional, and are a great way for young artists to gain experience.  The schedule includes a variety of instrumental music, vocals, the blues, guitar, and rock music.  Concert-goers are invited to bring a brown bag or purchase lunch at one of many downtown restaurants.

The full schedule of spring Art a la Carte concerts is:

April 25 Ann Zimmerman with Sunset Elementary Third Graders

May 2  South Middle School Sensations

May 9  South Middle School Guitar Ensemble

May 16 Tim & Sarah Crews
