NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Design Review Board of Salina Business Improvement District No. 1 to consider the following application(s):
Application #CC26-005, filed by Charles Renz of Jones Gillam Renz Architects on behalf of Salina Regional Health Properties Inc., requesting approval of a Certificate of Compatibility for Lot 4, Block 1, SRHC Subdivision, located on a 5.29-acre tract of land at the northwest corner of S. Santa Fe Avenue and Prescott Avenue to allow exterior alterations to the southeast corner of the Salina Medical Arts Building, including conversion of an existing single-door entry to a double-door non-public delivery access entry and installation of a shed-style aluminum and fabric canopy over the revised entry, pursuant to Section 2-207 of the Salina Code of Ordinances, has been filed for a public hearing before the Design Review Board. The property is zoned H-M (Hospital-Medical) and is located within the Salina Business Improvement District No. 1. The property is located at 520 S. Santa Fe Avenue and is legally described as Lot 4, Block 1 of the SRHC Subdivision.
Application #CC26-006, filed by Clint Glaser, requesting approval of a Certificate of Compatibility to allow exterior alterations including a front façade and storefront renovation and installation of a new storefront window system and entry doors at 108 N. Santa Fe Avenue pursuant to Section 2-207 of the Salina Code of Ordinances, has been filed for a public hearing before the Business Improvement District No. 1 Design Review Board. The property is zoned C-4 and is located within the Salina Business Improvement District No. 1. The property is located on a tract of land on the east side of N. Santa Fe Avenue between Ash Street and Iron Avenue, addressed as 108 N. Santa Fe Avenue, and is legally described as the South ½ of Lot 103 on Santa Fe Avenue in the Original Town (now City) of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.
The public hearing will be held in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street, on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. A hearing will be granted to any and all persons desiring to be heard on the above request(s).
