NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Salina Board of Zoning Appeals to consider the following application(s):
Application #V25-7, filed by Shawn Karlin, requesting a variance to Section 42-58(1) of the Salina Zoning Ordinance, which limits residential lots to two (2) accessory structures, to allow the construction of a new detached garage which would be the third accessory structure on the lot. The property that is the subject of this application is a 2.9 acre unplatted tract of land on the west side of South Marymount Road east of the Smoky Hill River and is addressed as 1318 S. Marymount Road. Application #V25-9, filed by Johnnie Adam, requesting approval of a rear yard setback variance of 14 ft. from 25 ft. (the minimum rear yard setback required in an R-1 zoning district) to 11 ft. to allow the construction of a 14 ft. x 16 ft. two-story addition on to the rear of a dwelling. The property that is the subject of this application is legally described as Lot 19, Block 2 of the River Run Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. This property is addressed as 1905 Springer Court. |
The public hearing will be held in Room 107 of the City-County Building and may also be joined via Zoom on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. A hearing will be granted to any and all persons desiring to be heard on the above request(s).
