NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Salina Board of Zoning Appeals to consider the following application(s):
Application #V25-5, filed by Charles Renz of JGR Architects on behalf of First Covenant Church requesting a maximum ground sign height variance of 12 ft. from eight (8) ft. (the maximum height for a ground sign in a residential district) to 20 ft. as well as a maximum sign size variance of 114.5 sq ft from 32 sq. ft. (the maximum size for a sign in a residential district) to 146.5 sq. ft. to allow a new ground sign to be installed along the south side of the First Covenant Church Property. The property that is the subject of this application is legally described as Lot 1, Block 1 of the Magnolia Hills Addition less the south end of Huntwood Drive of Magnolia Hills Estates Addition #2 to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas and addressed as 2625 E. Magnolia Road.
The public hearing will be held in Room 107 of the City-County Building and may also be joined via Zoom on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. A hearing will be granted to any and all persons desiring to be heard on the above request(s).
