NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Salina City Heritage Commission to consider the following application:
Application #HD26-001, filed by Travis Young, requesting Historic Sign designation for the H.D. Lee Flour Mills Company sign located on a 0.30-acre tract of land near the southwest corner of North Santa Fe Avenue and Pine Street, to allow re-installation of the sign with exemptions from standard sign regulations pursuant to Sec. 42-525 of the Salina Municipal Code, has been filed for a public hearing before the Heritage Commission. The subject property is zoned I-2 (Light Industrial District). The property is located at 343 N. Santa Fe Avenue and is legally described as Lots 24 and 26 and the North 8 feet of Lot 28 on Santa Fe Avenue in the Original Town (now City) of Salina.
A public hearing will be granted any persons interested in said proposed change(s) or amendment(s) on Wednesday, at 4:00 P.M. on May 27, 2026 in the City Commissioners' Meeting Room, Room 107, City-County Building, 300 West Ash Salina, Kansas.
