NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission to consider the following application(s):
Application #CU25-4, filed by Charles Renz with JGR Architects, requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the former Abner’s Autos/Quilting Station to be converted to a ground floor accessory apartment for The Garage Automotive Museum in the C-4 (Central Business) district. The subject property is legally described as part of Lot One Hundred-Ten (110) and One Hundred-Twelve (112) on Fourth Street in the Original Town (now City) of Salina, Saline County, Kansas which is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point Twenty-nine and Nine-tenths (29.9) feet East of the Northwest corner of said Lot One Hundred-Ten (110), thence in a Southerly direction along the West line of Fourth Street as now established, Eighty (80) feet; thence in a Southwesterly direction Fourteen and One-half (14 1/2 ) feet to a point which is Thirty-eight (38) feet East of the West line of said Lot One Hundred-Twelve (112); thence South Thirteen and One-half (13 ½) feet to a point in the South line of said Lot One Hundred-Twelve (112); thence West along the South line of said Lot One Hundred-Twelve (112), Thirty-eight (38) feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot One Hundred-Twelve (112); thence North along the West line of said Lots One Hundred-Twelve (112) and One Hundred-Ten (110) on Fourth Street. One Hundred (100) feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot One Hundred-Ten (110); thence running East along the North line of said Lot One Hundred-Ten (110), Twenty-nine and Nine-tenths (29.9) feet to the place of beginning. The public hearing will be held in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. A hearing will be granted to any and all persons desiring to be heard on the above request(s).
