NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission to consider the following application(s):
Application #CU25-3, filed by Gary Hobbie, on behalf of the Community Housing Development Corporation of Central Kansas, requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a 3rd dwelling unit (3,828 sq. ft.) to be constructed on a lot in a R-2 (Multiple-Family Residential) zoning district. The subject property is legally described as Lots 2, 4, 6, and 10 and the vacant street South of Lot 2, Block 9 of the EMI Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. This property is addressed as 1001 N. 4th Street and 235 Harsh Avenue. Application #CU25-6, filed by Tobi Vogan, requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the establishment and operation of a group day care home in an unoccupied dwelling, located in a R-1 (Single-Family Residential) zoning district. The subject property is legally described as Lot 38, Block 5 of the Edgemere Addition Replat to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. This property is addressed as 826 Birch Drive. |

The public hearing will be held in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. A hearing will be granted to any and all persons desiring to be heard on the above request(s).
