NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission to consider the following application(s):
Application #ZMA25-004, filed by Trevor Splichal on behalf of Salina Health Education Foundation, requesting a Zoning Map Amendment from PDD/I-2 (Planned Development District - Light Industrial) to C-3 (Shopping Center) to allow for the construction of a medical clinic for Salina Family Health Center has been filed for a public hearing before the Planning Commission. The property is a 9.1-acre tract of land located at the northwest corner of Ohio Street and Edison Place and currently features split zoning, with the western portion zoned PDD/I-2 and the easternmost portion zoned C-3. The property that is the subject of this zoning request is legally described as Lot 2 (less the Edison Place right-of-way), Surveyor’s Plat No. 52, to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.
Application #M26-001, filed by Overlook Estates, LLC, requesting approval of a resolution modifying the findings of fact and conditions of approval for the Overlook Estates Addition (Application #P03-4D) to release a restrictive covenant requiring automatic fire sprinklers in all new dwellings based on the City’s adoption of the 2018 International Fire Code (IFC) has been filed for a public hearing before the Salina City Planning Commission. The property is a 52.90-acre tract of land located south of the River Run Addition and west of Great Life Golf and Fitness. The property is a Planned Development District (PDD) with an underlying zoning of R (Single-Family Residential) District. The property is located at the south end of Overlook Drive and is legally described as Lots 1-13, Block 1 of the Overlook Estates Addition. |

The public hearing will be held in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. A hearing will be granted to any and all persons desiring to be heard on the above request(s).
