ORDINANCE NUMBER 25-11265
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE I, OF THE SALINA CODE BY ADDING DIVISON 8 TO ADOPT AND INCORPORATE BY REFERENCE THE INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE, 2018 EDITION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina Kansas:
Section 1. New Division. The Salina Code is amended by adding a new division to Chapter 8, Article I, Division 8 to be numbered 8-1-8-1 which section reads as follows:
Sec. 8-1-8-1. International Existing Building Code Adopted.
The International Existing Building Code (IEBC), 2018 Edition, promulgated and published by the International Code Council is adopted and incorporated by reference.
Section 2. Publication. The City Clerk shall cause this ordinance, as soon as practicable after it has been passed and signed, to be published on the City’s website as the designated official city newspaper.
Section 3. Effective date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after January 1, 2026.
