The Salina Fire Department will hold a Holiday Open House and Fundraiser on Saturday, November 22 from 2-4pm at Fire Station #1, 222 West Elm Street.
Those attending the open house will be able to check out the Fire Department’s new vehicles and equipment. The Fire Department recently took delivery on seven new fire apparatus, which represents a significant upgrade in firefighting capabilities.
The Department’s 1928 Ahrens-Fox firetruck will also be on display. Crafts and coloring pages will be available for kids to take home.
Attendees can also enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and popcorn. The Fire Department will be accepting donations to benefit the Salina Fire Department Honor Guard for purchase of uniforms and equipment.
