Salina Public Library - Mill Levy Resolution No. 25-02
A Resolution of the Salina Public Library, Salina, Kansas to increase the mill levy.
WHEREAS the current mill levy rate for the Salina Public Library is at 5.595 mills calculated by the Salina County
Clerk; and
WHEREAS the budget proposed by the Governing Body of the Salina Public Library will require the levy of property
tax to be increased due to an increase in expenditures and/or decreases in income; and
WHEREAS the Governing body will hold a budget hearing on August 26, 2025 allowing interested taxpayers desiring
to be heard an opportunity to give public comment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE Salina Public Library:
The Salina Public Library is notifying the public of the possibility of increased mill levy, ad valorem taxes of
$3,130,139 to finance the 2026 budget.
