Local Amendments
Please refer to Chapter 8 and Chapter 14 of the Salina Municipal Code for the official version of the local code amendments.
Wanting to add a pool to your property? There are different types of pools that each have different requirements. Please see the helpful documents below:
Seasonal Swimming Pool: a pool designed to be set up and used for the spring/summer season and then taken down and stored for fall/winter (See applicable handout)
Permanent Above Ground Pool: a pool/hot tub/spa designed as a permanent fixture but is above ground (See applicable handout)
Permanent In-Ground Pool: a pool/hot tub/spa designed as a permanent fixture but is placed in-ground
Permits are required for all of three types of pools. Please see the submittal checklists below.
