Starting Monday April 7th through Friday April 18th, Smoky Hill Construction of Salina, Kansas will begin concrete pavement repairs on Albert Avenue; east of Ohio Street, weather permitting.
The first phase consists of removing and replacing concrete sections 24 and 25 (see map above).
The project will require temporary closure of Albert Ave. and the north access to Quik Shop. Upon completion, barricades will be moved to accommodate removal and replacement of sections 26 and 27.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes for business and home access, and to avoid work zones altogether if possible.
The scheduled work detailed above is funded through the City of Salina's 2025 concrete repair budget. The Albert Pavement Repair has a projected total cost of $49,900.
